MicroEnterprise Works! RHODE ISLAND MICROENTERPRISE ASSOCIATION (RIMA) 8 ABBOTT PARK PLACE - PROVIDENCE, RI 02903 - 401-598-2256 NUMBER 7 - October, November, December 2001 Ann Marie Marshall - Statewide Director MICROENTERPRISE
PROGRAM The Center-sponsored Rhode Island MicroEnterprise Association (RIMA) was awarded a second-year grant of $25,000 by the Rhode Island Foundation. This grant will help continue the work of the Association to bring training and technical assistance to low and moderate income residents of the state. RIMA offers MicroBusiness Training programs in Providence, Warwick, Pawtucket, Woonsocket, and Bristol. Classes are taught in English, Spanish, Creole, and Portuguese. The Association has graduated more than 180 people from it s training programs over the past year. The Fall series of Classes begins on September 10th.
